Important Notice for IFTA Licensees
Please be advised that significant changes to the IFTA auditing process were implemented on January 1, 2017. These changes were the result of recent ballot language ratified by the IFTA member jurisdictions (IFTA Full Track Ballot 3-2014). These changes include certain mandates for licensees to maintain and provide records to auditors from member jurisdictions (generally your base jurisdiction) upon request or risk the imposition of estimated tax assessments consistent with this new language. We have provided you with an overview of these changes and how they may affect your business during an IFTA audit. This overview may be found on the HELP pages of this website. Please log in using your User ID and Password and then select the HELP tab at the top of the page on the right hand side. Select the item "Audit Ballot Notice" to access the overview. For a more comprehensive presentation of Ballot 3-2014, visit the IFTA, Inc. website at www.iftach.org. Click on the "Ballot Proposals" tab at the top of the page and then click on "2014 Ballot Voting Results and Comments". Scroll down the 2014 Ballot page to IFTA Full Track Ballot Proposal 3-2014.
